Kim Kardashian sued by former maintenance staff for unpaid wages!

The multi-hyphenate Kim Kardashian is being sued by seven former employees, that include the gardener and other maintenance staff. The staff who have worked in Kardashian’s $60 million Hidden Hills mansion have accused her of shady boss type of rude behavior.

The suit was filed on Monday in Los Angeles, and Kim Kardashian has also not paid their wages on time, and they further accused her of taking 10% of the amount payable in the name of taxes.
According to the staff, she has ordered them to work overtime, forced them to work with our meal breaks, and sometimes refuse their overtime bonus.

The plaintiffs include a gardener and other maintenance staff, namely Andrew Ramirez, his brother Christopher Ramirez and son Andrew Ramirez Jr, Aron Cabrera; Rene Ernesto Flores, Jesse Fernandez, and Robert Araiza, who worked on the property.

According to the further talks, they revealed she has hired a 16-year-old teenager and asked him to work overtime. And according to the government rules, a minor is allowed to work for 48 hours per week.
Some workers tried to talk about the issue but were fired by Kim Kardashian herself.

Los Angeles Times reviewed the 10-point complaint and reported, “Plaintiffs … were not paid on regular periods, were not given their required meal and rest breaks, were not provided a means to record all their hours, were not paid all their hours, were not reimbursed for employment expenses, were not paid all their overtime wages, and were not paid their wages upon termination of employment.”

Responding to the lawsuit, Kim Kardashian said in a statement that wage theft and other violations in a workplace are commonly found in a city like Los Angeles. And she has also asked her firm to investigate the defendant’s claim on behalf of all-powerful families that fall into this trap. The plaintiff’s attorney is Frank Kim, who is also defending lawsuits against Kanye West.
