Review of The Reckoning; Episode 9 of season 1 (no spoilers)

After the end of the second world war, army nurse Claire and her husband, Frank go to a second honeymoon to Scotland. The eighth episode of the first season of Outlander ended with  Frank still wondering about the disappearance of Claire, and 18th century Claire went back to the mysterious stone and was captured by Redcoats. The ninth episode starts with a voiceover from Jamie’s viewpoint. Jamie tries to escape from yet another possible rape attempt, and along with Claire, she flees the fort by jumping the high wall into the river. In the true sense of Mills and Boons, this episode was steaming with such essence of kink. We can’t wait for the whole season. If you haven’t seen Outlanders yet then you are missing out on a great historical and mysterious drama.
