Rumours Surface New Samsung Galaxy Fold Phones in Production

Earlier this month, Samsung began production of parts for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and new rumors surfaced that the Korean company had begun mass production of the device. The author of the post is Max Weinbach, who added that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also in production. Weinbach claims production began on Monday, and previous leaks said production would begin in July, suggesting the device is ahead of schedule. Samsung is clearly targeting 25,000 units per day, and one source said the production target is over 50,000 units per day.

Other rumored specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage, 7.55-inch home screen, 6.21-inch deck screen, 4,380mAh battery, and 25W charging, and Android 11. We believe it will become one of the best phones in 2021.

According to reports, Samsung sold 3.5 million to 2.5 million folding smartphones in 2020 and is expected to sell 6 to 7 million Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 units this year. Obviously, production will not be evenly distributed, such as Samsung. The demand for Z Flip 3 is expected to be higher. Facts have proved that this generation of foldable phones is obviously more popular than Z Fold 2, which is quite low compared with flagship phones of the Galaxy S and Note series. More specifically, the component volume of Fold 3 is said to be one-third of what Samsung usually requires for its high-end mobile phones. From a further perspective, sales of the Note series used to exceed 10 million units per year.

Foldable devices have not yet arrived, so Samsung’s cautious approach is worth it. To do this, companies can sell future phones at relatively low prices. The new device could be 20% cheaper than the current foldable range, and once the leak is fixed, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will retail for around $ 1,599 and the Z Flip 3,959 for the price. The upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to launch on August 3 and is expected to launch later this month.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 is likely to be equipped with an under-panel selfie camera. Although it is said that its performance is equivalent to that of a traditional camera, it will not be completely hidden. The device is also expected to be compatible with the S Pen stylus, but it is unlikely to be equipped with a dedicated compartment to store the stylus. Other rumored specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage space, 7.55-inch main display, 6.21-inch deck display, 4,380 mAh battery, and 25 W charging, and Android 11. We think it will be one of the best phones in 2021.

Perhaps the biggest improvements leading to the Flip 3 are the larger deck screen and 120Hz main display. It can also be powered by the Snapdragon 888, which boasts a new back design and sleek body. Samsung’s new foldable phone, as well as the next generation Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4, are expected to hit stores on August 3rd later this month.
